Cadillac’s Passenger Infotainment
In-Vehicle UX UI Design
Overview
As a Product and Visual Designer at General Motors, I played a key role in defining and designing the user experience for the front and rear passenger displays for Cadillac vehicles. I collaborated closely with product, localization, and software teams to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.
Design and Development: Created wireframes, production-ready visual assets, specifications, and comprehensive design solutions for various infotainment features, including web browser, streaming apps, screen sharing, vehicle information, and the overall system UI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Worked closely with cross-functional teams, including LG Electronics, to integrate third-party products seamlessly into the infotainment system, ensuring a cohesive user experience.
Partnerships and Coordination: Partnered with product management, engineering, UX research, and technical writers to define and refine product features, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
Balanced Design Solutions: Developed design solutions that effectively balanced customer needs, business goals, and technological constraints, delivering a user-friendly and efficient infotainment system.
Continuous Improvement: Constantly updated and refined the user experience based on feedback and testing, prioritizing enhancements to ensure the system remained intuitive and engaging.
